OK so my friend and I want to play against each other.
I have never played against a human before because I don't know how.See everytime we go to multiplayer it can never find and games...And when we do direct IP it acts like it's going to load,But never does.
And this is pretty much our problem...How can we fix this? can someone please help us out??!

I meant this to be more about general questions for the boards, lol...
But, even so... I've never played online, so I don't know. :/
Try posting your question about online play in the board for the version you mean. Perhaps you'll get more help.

I have always like AOE. I used to play more than I do now, and that is partly because I'm having a hard time getting the right resolution on my screen. I like to have everything a bit small so that I can see what's going on. I used to be able to do that. Now, I can adjust the program's resolution, but it doesn't fo low enough (or high enough). If I could get some help with that one, I would certainly appreciate it.

This thread is really mostly for guests....
However, I don't really understand what you mean. Is this a general question or for a certain AoE software? The new one? The original?
Have you changed your regular monitor resolution lately? That may account for the differences since you last played.
